Itadaku
4 / 5
Itadaku, the kanii for itadaku means mountaintop. The original meaning of itadaku is "to put something over the head" or "to wear on one's head," playing off the upward-ness of the mountain motif. It wasn't long before the word would become associated with receiving things, especially food.Itadaku presents itself as an authentic Japanese restaurant as opposed to the many fusion versions that we see allover the city. The chefs are Japanese, the waitresses, unease and wall equipments have been brought from Japan. The rice cube is insane; crispy and delicious. They still do not serve sushi and sashimi. So I hold my final rating until I try them.
