About this Restaurant

Open for Business

“Our pizzas possess a delicate quality, featuring a thin, expertly-crafted crust prepared in either a gourmet or classic fashion. They are not only flavorful but, most crucially, exude an unmistakable Neapolitan authenticity. Attempting to enumerate the merits of what undoubtedly ranks as one of Vienna’s finest pizza offerings may be a challenging task. Despite the possibly misleading name, our location isn’t nestled between Piazza Dante and Piazza Plebiscito; rather, we are situated in the very heart of Vienna.

Stepping into Francesco Calò’s pizzeria embarks you on a gastronomic voyage that commences with the montanara topped with tomato sauce, basil, and pecorino cheese, and culminates with pasteria  napoletana and sfogliatella, two iconic symbols of Naples.

Our menu showcases a wide array of both classic and gourmet pizzas, all prepared with long-fermented dough and a high hydration ratio. On the beverage front, the art of pairing pizza with wine stands out as a distinguishing feature of this establishment. Each item on our menu is thoughtfully paired with wine, adhering strictly to DOC, DOP, DOCG, or IGT classifications. Our staff, fluent in both German and Italian, wholeheartedly dedicate themselves to providing a superb dining experience from the moment you walk in until you leave. This dedication is especially evident on weekends, when, due to expected wait times, we offer Prosecco to help you pass the time.”
