Dr. Habib Al Mulla
Shawarma Shaker
3 / 5
Could not be in Kuwait and not try the Shawarma there. The famous one is Shawarma Shakir. It is the first one that served Shawarma in Samoon bread (see the photo). Samoon bread is one of the most widespread breads in Iraq, along with khubz. It has a diamond shape, golden shine, and rich taste. Normally Shawarma is either served in Arabic (Lebanese) bread or in Saj bread. It is unconventional to serve it in Samoon bread. Surprisingly, I liked Samoon bread. The meat was Good the Chicken Shawarma was Average. Overall rating is average. Then and on the recommendation of @chefkb I tried Bu Masoud Shawarma which was better in my opinion. The meat shawarma was very good and the chicken was good.
