DUO Gastrobar

Duo Gastrobar, the brainchild of two chefs; Dmitry Blinov and Renat Malikov who brought the concept from St. Petersburg. The restaurant enjoys an air of sophistication with its elegant and chic design. The open kitchen concept adds a touch of excitement and adventure to the atmosphere. The menu showcases a modern take on European cuisine, enriched with Russian flavors. The starters, including the broccoli pâté with pine nuts and the truffle-infused cabbage, were delightful and full of flavor. The lamb meat with eggplant was basically a burger pate covered with eggplant. I could not figure out what was the idea behind this dish. The king crab with lemon butter beurre blanc was a good choice but was served lukewarm. Dessert options are limited, with only four to choose from. The brownie tart was very simple and frankly I expected a more creative touch from such a refined establishment.
