Arrazuna Dubai
Arrazuna, created by the renowned Turkish chef Mehmet Gürs of Mikla (an exceptional restaurant, by the way), may not meet your expectations if you’re seeking a traditional Turkish dining experience. The restaurant, however, describes itself as a food hall that offers a blend of cuisines from Turkey, the Middle East, and Arabia. Despite this mix, I still find it puzzling to encounter dishes like Ash Reshteh, a traditional Iranian soup, on the menu. Items such as Hummus, Shawarma, Oysters, Batata Harra, and Kibbeh Nayeh—all of which are not typically associated with Turkish cuisine—also feature prominently. During our visit, we decided to play it safe by ordering the Turkish dishes. Unfortunately, the food turned out to be mediocre at best. Nothing is stood out as particularly appealing or memorable and it even fell short compared to other Turkish restaurants in town.
