Aend, Vienna, Austria. A fine-dining restaurant in Vienna known for its modern take on Austrian cuisine. The minimalist design immediately catches the eye, as do the striking brick arches overhead. The view into the open kitchen showcases the skill and dedication of Fabian Günzel’s team. Two set menus: long and short. The long one is indeed long and in my opinion it can be reduced. Why should one have 3 fish courses and 2 meat courses? The dishes are well presented without feeling overly complicated. Service is professional. While some courses stand out more than others, the overall experience is well balanced.
