Palmenhaus Brasserie
The Verdict
Palmenhaus brasserie, Vienna, Austria. Housed in a beautiful glass pavilion next to the Hofburg. I came for breakfast. The menu covers the classics, from egg dishes and pastries to healthier options. The food is good rather than exceptional, but the atmosphere, natural light, and views of the surrounding gardens elevate the experience. Service can be a little busy during peak hours, yet overall it remains a pleasant choice for a relaxed breakfast.

About this Restaurant
The BRASSERIE PALMENHAUS – a piece of Viennese tradition since 1998 The Orangery, built in 1903 by Friedrich Ohmann, has long since become an institution that enjoys great popularity among both Viennese and visitors to Vienna. But the restaurant has not lost any of its modern, open flair. On the terrace with a view of the beautiful castle gardens, as well as under the light-flooded dome of the imposing glass house, the place offers a very special atmosphere for many occasions; Be it for a long breakfast, lunch break, café and cake or a delicious dinner, the kitchen and cellar leave nothing to be desired. Great value is placed on the freshness of the food and an excellent selection of wines.
