The Verdict
El Mohamady, an Egyptian establishment that started more than 50 years ago in Al Mansoura and has expanded into various locations in Cairo. Their famous branch is in new Cairo but I went to the new one in Ma’adi. The location is grand with a beautiful outdoor seating. The menu focuses on Egyptian Classics, particularly grilled meat. Their famous dish is Walima which is a kind of mixed Grill is served on a bed of rice. The lamb shoulder and the Kawareh waraq enab was also very good. Avoid the desserts.
