The Verdict
Wael Pastry, Cairo, Egypt. An old down to earth establishment serving the famous Egyptian Feteer, Egypt most beloved traditional pastry. Fetter is a multi layer pastry made from flour, water and butter Ojih. The door is stretched until it becomes thin and the ingredients could be anything from cheese, pastrami or even cream and honey. Although the service was deadly slow the Feteer was very good. The dough was light, crispy and slightly burnt.
