Dr. Habib Al Mulla
Sumosan Dubai
2 / 5
There’s certainly no shortage of Japanese restaurants in Dubai, however we have a new one. Sumosan, first opened in Moscow, and expanded to other cities including Berlin, Courchevel, Doha, London, Riyadh is now in Dubai. Here is my intake on the food. The Crispy Crispy duck was soggy. The greens looked very unhappy. The Black cod was overwhelmed by teriyaki sauce and the fish was long frozen. The Wasabi Prawns were good but on the sweet side. In fact, for some reason, everything was sweet, including the soya sauce! And they don’t have fresh wasabi. For me, any Japanese restaurant that serves horseradish as Wasabi is simply not Japanese.
