The Verdict
Ritz Paris Le Comptoir, the hotel's pastry shop helmed by François Perret. The peach-colored shop features a long molded counter and brass alcoves filled with giftable items, from candles to Champagne. You will find varieties of Perret's glazed madeleines and croissants that swap their traditional shape for an elongated format, marble cake, and more) and confections designed for take-away. Personally I was not impressed with the madeleine but May be I should have tried more varieties. The #croissant on the other hand was delicious.
