The Verdict

Mugaritz, known for its innovative, and creative approach to cuisine, pushing boundaries even further than Alchemist. It was too experimental to the extent of illusion. Much like modern art, it’s a polarizing experience – you either love it or hate it. In my case, I didn’t like it. The emphasis on presentation overshadowed the essence of the dishes. Ultimately, dining should be about savoring delicious food. What’s the purpose of culinary creativity if it doesn’t result in a delightful taste? We returned many dishes untouched, and they did not even ask why. I believe they are expecting this from their guests. Also, as part of creativity, I assume, there are no forks or knives. Everything is to be eaten with hands, including meat and fish!! Despite being in the list of WB50 restaurants, I am unable to recommend this restaurant to anyone.
