L’Assiette
L’Assiette, very classic French bistro from chef David Rathgeber. They’re famous for their cassoulet. The snails are also very good here. Rathgeber’s touch is to add a disk of toasted bread on top of each snail. Unfortunately, the main course menu was heavily centered around pork, leaving us with only a single fish dish as our alternative (plus few starters and desserts). In general, the food was below average

About this Restaurant
Acid-etched windows, a magnificent decorated ceiling, a veined marble counter, wooden tables and chairs, a semi-open kitchen: all the images of a typical Parisian bistro pass before the customers’ eyes. Added to this, Alain Huchet’s gastronomic engravings hang on the wall. A place in keeping with the spirit the chef wanted to instill.
It’s not difficult to be convinced when you have the chance to taste his head pâtés, his fricandeaux or his terrines or when you let yourself be seduced by the creations of this game specialist…
A cuisine marked by the dishes of his childhood and in particular those which, on Sundays, brought his hunting family together happily around the table (hare stew, potée, stuffed cabbage).
