HAWKERBOI
Hawkerboi, a promising eatery that evolved from its humble supper club roots into a Southeast Asian hawker haven. The ambience is chic and elegant. However, the culinary journey fell short of expectations.None of dishes managed to etch themselves into memory, leaving us with a sense of mediocrity. It resembled more of an elevated version of the delectable delights you might find in a food court. In particular, the highly anticipated duck dish turned out to be a serious letdown. On a separate note, let's talk about the set menu. Sadly, it seems that some restaurants here either misunderstand or abuse the concept of a set menu. It was disheartening to be charged a hefty sum per person, only to find ourselves presented with sharing plates.Nevertheless, credit must be given to service staff whom were swift to recognize our concerns and went out of their way to rectify the situation.
