Gimi
Gimi, meaning spice in Korean, is a new Korean and South-East Asian trendy eatery. The restaurant has a chill and hip vibe; dark lighting, brown leather sofas and marble table tops. Service is friendly and attentive. Unfortunately the delivery on food is failing. So the less positive feelings are coming from the taste and balance of the dishes which missed the finesse and were simply bland. Nothing was memorable including the signature Korean Fried Chicken. The short ribs and the beef Randang were hard to chew and tasteless. Many items were over sweetened. The only thing which was wow was the French fries; crispy from the outside, and hash from the inside. The restaurant has long way to go and I hope they can improve. They took our comments on board in a professional manner.
