The Verdict
Renowned chef Akira Back presents his unique interpretation of Japanese cuisine infused with Korean and international flavors. The edamame and rock shrimp were satisfactory in quality. However, the wagyu dumpling was excessively sauced and lacked flavor. It is disappointing for a high-end Japanese restaurant to not offer Otoro and fresh Wasabi. The Kiwami Ribeye failed to deliver the expected taste of premium meat. The butter mochi resembled undercooked dough rather than a properly prepared dessert. The chocolate latte served in a cup resembled a simple chocolate fondue, without any distinctive features apart from its presentation. In summary, the dining experience was enjoyable but not memorable.
