AKABEKO
AKABEKO Dubai’s first table-top Yakiniku, Akabeko, offers a dining experience centered around “yakiniku,” which means “grilled meat” in Japanese. This style of cooking involves grilling bite-sized pieces of meat and vegetables on gridirons or griddles over a flame fueled by wood charcoal. The method ensures that every edible part of the animal, including secondary cuts, is utilized. Although Japanese yakiniku is heavily influenced by Korean barbecue traditions, it has its own distinct style, allowing diners to cook their food themselves with a variety of meats and sauces. The interior of Akabeko features a minimalistic design with comfortable booth seating. While it may not perfectly replicate the experience in Japan, the result is impressive and highly recommended for meat lovers.
