The Verdict
Aheste, meaning “slow” in Parsian is a modern take on Turkish cuisine. Having a Michelin Bib Gourmand and being on the list of WB50 Discovery means something. The ambiance and decor is simplistic, yet elegant. Service was professional and friendly. With a meze-led tasting menu the food is no doubt, creative, but unfortunately more of a hit and miss. The food was ok but nothing to rave home about it.Another point that I need mention is that concept of Tasting Menu. When the restaurant serves Tasting Menu and charges per head, everyone should get his own dish. You can’t have a tasting menu and then serve sharing plates! Every one should get his portion since you are charging per head. We had left the restaurant still hungry
