Chef Mohammad Jehad manages to blend Arabic flavours such as za’atar, saffron and sumac into Japanese food and even style, for example, eel sayadiya style. The fish is imported from Japan, Spain and Dubai. The atmosphere resembles traditional Japanese restaurants and has a counter where one can watch the action. If you are looking for an authentic Japanese experience in Amman, then you should visit Yugen. The falafel dessert was outstanding. I would come back again just to try it.
