The Verdict
Varoulko Seaside Restaurant, a restaurant with an authentic maritime flavour. It was the first fine dining restaurant in the city to serve an exclusively seafood menu and the first restaurant to be awarded a Mechlin star. Fresh seafood is what you would expect here. You can see the effort made in creativity and presentation without compromising the substance. And they charge for bread 🍞! Desserts were exceptional.

As our great poet Odysseus Elytis once famously said, if you deconstruct Greece, you will see at the end that what is left is an olive tree, a vineyard and a fishing boat. In the same land, the famous chef Lefteris Lazarou uses these ingredients to create a unique seafood experience in his restaurant, Varoulko.
