The Verdict
Shanasheel Restaurant & Coffee Shop, Dubai, UAE. A huge restaurant (and I mean it) reflecting an Arabic old house serving Iraqi cuisine with a few other Arabic cuisine and even few International dishes as well. Shanasheel is wooden bay windows with intricate latticework, a traditional architectural element in Iraqi and other Middle Eastern homes. The food was in general very good, but the service was completely disjointed and inattentive. I am not sure if they are understaffed but for a restaurant that has spent so much on decoration and ambience it is sad to see it failing on service.
