Sait Restaurant

Sait, an elegant seafood restaurant nestled within the vibrant new Galataport development in Istanbul. Regrettably, the enchanting facade masks a disheartening reality—a tourist trap that may leave you yearning for more than what it delivers. If you are a foreigner they try not to provide you with a menu. Rather they push hardly to convince you to choose from the life section display. They offered us a fish cooked in a pristine bed of salt which we didn’t mind. What they didn’t tell us is that this will take an hour to prepare. So we had the appetizers and other items of the main course only to find our anticipated fish conspicuously absent from our table. Time and again, we beseeched the staff for updates, but alas, their reassurances of its imminent arrival offered little solace. Naturally by the time the fish arrived we were full and could not eat it. The fish accounted for more than half of the bill! indelible mark of unprofessionalism on an otherwise promising establishment.
