The Verdict
Rekondo, a rustic property along the road up to MT Igueldo. This place has several aces up its sleeve. One is definitely the setting, in a former farmhouse with views of La Concha Bay. The seating at the patio is charming. The restaurant offers upscale Basque cuisine. The red prawn carpaccio and the baked crab were very good. The Desserts were wow. We tried the mille feuille and Hot Apple cake.
