The Verdict

Pier Habib, a dessert shop specialises in "süt baklava" and was recommended to me by @seben1905 . Milk baklava" or "süt baklava" is a traditional Turkish dessert that is similar to the well-known baklava but made with a different type of dough. The dough used in milk baklava is typically softer and more tender than the dough used in regular baklava. Milk baklava is made with layers of phyllo dough, chopped nuts, and filled with a milk-based custard instead of nuts that is flavored with rose water or orange blossom water. The top is often sprinkled with ground pistachios or almonds. Once the baklava is baked, it is typically soaked in a simple syrup made with sugar and water, which adds sweetness and moisture to the pastry. It is usually served at room temperature or chilled. I have a long list to places to visit in Istanbul so this place was not on the top of my list. I went to it as it opens till late unlike traditional baklava places. Once I tired it was mind blowing. I have tried süt baklava before but this was outstanding. This place will be on my list to visit every time. I will be in Istanbul.
