Nefa al nagahy. Neifa is a popular traditional dish in Egypt. It typically consists of sheep meat (often the head or neck) that is either grilled over charcoal or slowly roasted in the oven. Nefa al nagahy is one of the most popular places for serving this dish. It’s a small down to earth place in old Cairo. There are other places that share the same name, but this is the original one. The restaurant was established in 1912 and serves only this onedish.
