Mitsuba

Mitsuba is a recent addition to the Japanese culinary scene in Dubai. This is not your fusion style avocado and mayonnaise filled sushi restaurant. If you are fan of that then this is not your place. It is more of authentic Japanese restaurant. It presents itself as a French Japanese restaurant. The ingredients are of high quality. Personally, I liked the Caviar on Rice Vermicelli (second photo). It reminds me of a signature dish of a famous Sino-Japanese restaurant called Furuta in Tokyo by chef Hiroshi Furuta which is very hard to book. Also, the Wagyu Ribeye steak was absolute heaven. I would come again only for that. And don’t miss the Japanese pancake for the dessert. The question is will the restaurant survive the curse of Sunset Mall!
