La Fabbrica Italiana is a small and casual Italian eatery that is known for Foccacia sandwiches. They offer an array of 72-hour fermented Foccacia creations. They are also known for a tiramisu recipe that dates back to 1958. The owner says that his aunt was the inventor of the tiramisu although an Italian told me that it was invented by another lady who was working in the same place. In all cases I believe the real recipe doesn’t have whipped cream. I liked the focaccia; it was fresh and crispy. The pasta was just okay. The tiramisu was also average to my taste.
