Kanpai Classic Soho, in the heart of Soho. A Japanese wagyu experience presented in yakiniku style, meaning small bites of beef prepared on gridirons. A choice of set and à la carte menus. The experience was not memorable neither from quality of meat nor the taste. The only dish that stood out was the curry.

Kanpai Classic is about two things; wagyu beef and yakiniku (that’s cooking bitesize pieces of food over a charcoal flame), so if you don’t eat red meat this is one to swerve.
