Dragonfly

Dragonfly, a recent addition to the Japanese culinary scene in Dubai by the famous Bulldozer Group. The concept was crafted by acclaimed chef Reif Othman, known for his establishments Reif Japanese Kushiyaki in Dubai and Cairo. The decor is charming with high ceiling and a large dragonfly sculpture hanging. The menu is common to what you would normally see in many Japanese fusion restaurants in Dubai; edamame, Salmon tataki, gyoza, nigiri and maki. As usual caviar is always available as an add on to various dishes. While the food is good, the question remains: aside from its location, what sets Dragonfly apart from Reif Kushiyaki or other Japanese fusion spots in Dubai?
