The Verdict
Daftar an upscale Indian eatery. Despite the historic ties between the UAE and India, truly good Indian cuisine especially for those familiar with dining in India can be surprisingly hard to come by. Daftar maybe in a position to fill that gap. The decor is contemporary but not formal. The menu features classics like Dhal, butter chicken, chat and Biryani. The food was tasteful with appetizers standing out in particular. The only letdown item was the kulfi which didn’t quite meet expectations.
