Dr. Habib Al Mulla
Baghdadi Restaurant
4 / 5
Masgouf (in Arabic: المسكوف), is a Mesopotamian dish consisting of fresh water seasoned, grilled carp. It is often considered the national dish of Iraq. I have tried it in London and in Dubai but trust me there is nothing like trying it here. It is so fresh and fatty. The bread is so delicious you want to eat it on its own. They serve dates after fish so that you don’t get thirsty as fish makes you thirsty. Never knew this before.
