Chef Victor Arguinzoniz has earned fame for his extraordinary grilling skills, transforming every course, including desserts, with the essence of the open flame. He personally designed the grills, solidifying his reputation as the barbecue virtuoso. After waiting for over a year and making persistent efforts, I finally secured a table. And the waiting was definitely worth it. Asador Etxebarri stands unrivaled for food enthusiasts, showcasing supremely outstanding ingredients. Words cannot capture the depth of flavours presented here. The cuisine is characterized by its simplicity, free from gimmicks, complexities, or extravagant ingredients, offering only pure, exquisite food. The meat dish was served rare yet no blood, no smell but melted like a butter. As for the desserts, they are are out of this world. I cannot find words to describe how delicious they were. The cheesecake, in particular, was a revelation, undoubtedly the finest I have ever had.
