African Queen Dubai
African Queen, born on the French Riviera in Beaulieu-sur-Mer, this French culinary tradition which goes back to 1969 has its first branch outside France in Dubai. The decor and ambience is cozy and refreshing. Service was friendly and attentive. The cuisine is Mediterranean. The food was enjoyable, but not memorable. The red prawn carpaccio and the foie gras stood out. One letdown was the Pizza as it was soggy. The background music was perfectly balanced in volume, a refreshing change from the overly loud soundtracks often found in some of Dubai’s restaurants.
