1860 Cafe by Zalatimo. The Zalatimo Brothers brand began in Jerusalem in 1860. They are known for their signature Arabic baklava and other Arabic sweets. It is the most popular dessert shop in Jordan. The cafe serves the similar concept but the bake fresh Kunafa and Muttabaq. a versatile pan-fried or baked stuffed pastry also known as murtabak or martabak in other regions. Mutabbaq means “folded” in Arabic, referring to how the pastry is prepared. Jordanian versions include both savory and sweet fillings. The Mutabbaq stood out as excellent, while the Kunafa was satisfactory but unremarkable.
