The original one in Paris has been welcoming guests since 1899. The brasserie features chic and elegant décor, red velvet armchairs and wood paneled walls, reflecting Parisian style ambience. The dining area is also quiet with no loud music as is the trend in other restaurants in Dubai. This allows for calm conversation with fellow dinners on the table. Service was good but the waiters looked exhausted and tired. The menu of the Brasserie (there is a café as well) features classic French items like the escargot, beef tartare and other items. The starters outshined the mains in my opinion. The beef Tartare was bland in my opinion. The mushroom salad was very good. The steak, the veal blanquette and chicken were good. The profiteroles were very good and the highlight of the dinner. Rating is Good. Recommended items: mushroom salad, profiteroles. Average PPP AED 414.
