A traditional bistro where chef Stéphane Jégo stays true to the legacy of his 1930s establishment, serving French classics. Apparently almost nothing has changed in the decor of this quintessential Parisan bistro since it first opened as a Basque pub in the 1930s. Meat and fish options abound (vegetarians beware), but wild game is the star when in season. Tiny place with tables next to each other. Menu only in French. Surprisingly customers were all foreigners (mainly tourists). One side only; mash potatoes The famous Le riz au lait was very strange (more of a granola) and frankly disappointing. Rating is Acceptable Average ppp €80.
